With sadness I was advised today Mark Hesman (class of 1980) died last weekend. I know he was friends with lots of our year. RIP Mark. 🙏💔

Red Book One

‎Bernie Flynn‎ sent a photo that will bring back memories of long ago; "Remember school readers Dick and Dora in the 60’s."
Thanks Bernie. I just remember how my Grandma used to hear me read and was adamant that I should be good at reading and spelling and get a good education. She was a direct descendant of Irish Catholic immigrants (my great grandfather/grandmother) who were forbidden (by English law) to get an education. Consequently, when they arrived in Australia in the 1850s they could neither read nor write. Thank you Grandma.

Just caught up with Shane Miles at Montile Moonah, he's the manager. I told him about the school reunion (arguably biggest event since Richmond winning the 2017 Flag) and how much of fun it was. He's not on Facebook but will look at joining soon because of DCG101979
