🇳🇵 NEST Core Team – First General Meeting (2026–2028 Term)
Our newly elected NEST Core Team held its first general meeting on 23 July 2026 via Google Meet, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Nepali Society of Tasmania (NEST).
The meeting focused on introducing team members, reviewing ongoing initiatives, discussing current challenges, and setting priorities for the next two years. Key discussions included strengthening Pathshala, supporting community volunteers and teachers, the future partnership with CGRC (Chiya Guff Run Club), membership engagement, sponsorship and grant opportunities, website improvements, social media, financial planning, and reviewing the NEST constitution.
We are committed to working together with dedication, transparency, and collaboration to build a stronger, more connected Nepali community across Tasmania.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved. We look forward to sharing more updates and initiatives with our community in the coming months.
