BBQ Captains needed!

We are holding a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on Saturday, 11 June. We need more BBQ Captains.

A captain needs to be on site at all times, to ensure our team of volunteers follow all cleaning and hygiene requirements. I'ts not a big job, we promise!

So far we have two captains on board, but the more hands on deck, the lighter the load for everyone.

What's involved to become a BBQ Captain?
It's as easy as attending a 10-minute training session at Bunnings North Mackay. Their next session is this Wednesday, 25 May at 6 pm.

If you'd like to help out with our sausage sizzle fundraiser, be it as captain or volunteer on the day, please contact the school office or email us at [email protected] .

How lovely to see volunteer Gina at today's Hoy.
We desperately need more helpers with running Hoy on Thursday morning. It's one of our biggest P&C fundraisers.
If you're able to help out, or maybe know a friend or family member looking for a great volunteering opportunity, please consider joining in the fun.

HOY HELPERS NEEDED
Can you lend a hand on a Thursday morning to help hand out prizes to our lovely HOY ladies? It is a very easy and fun job. HOY is a major fundraiser for our school. It is held at Magpies Sporting Club each Thursday morning from 9am-11.30am. If you can help out, even just once a month, please contact the office.

The P&C will hold its AGM on Tuesday, 22 February at 5.30 pm at the school library.

As this meeting is held on school grounds, attendees are required to be vaccinated. (We are looking at alternative options for future meetings.)

We are looking for volunteers to join our Executive Team.
It's not as scary as it may seem, and all training is provided. 😊

While the start of the school year is far from usual, we hope everyone is getting back into the school routine after 8 weeks off. ⏰🏃🙈

A warm welcome to our new Preppies and Prep families - we hope you got through the exciting first day of school.

FYI to all caregivers

School Book Drop Off
Parents are welcome to drop student books up to school next Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th Feb. Books must be in a bag/box clearly labelled with student name and teacher name. Bags/boxes are to be dropped along library wall under windows. Staff will collect and deliver to classrooms.
