Introduction to Sufism Q&A

When: 23 Nov 2024, 8pm
Where: Online via Zoom link (booking essential)

Have you ever wondered if there was more to life?
Do you find yourself asking deep questions about the nature of reality and the truth behind things?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to share a heartful space, not just a mindful one, with others on the same path?
Do you respond to the poetry of Rumi or the dances of the Mevlevi, and are you interested in the source of these blessings?

If so, you may want to look futher into Sufism. Shaykh Ibrahim and senior students will be holding a public Q&A live online via Zoom to answer any and all questions about the path of Tassawuf (Sufism) and the Path of the Heart.

Salaam All,

As is customary, we will be holding Murshid Shaykh Taner's
40th Day Katham Al Quran at the Centre in Marayong. Although the official date for Shaykh’s Katham Al Quran would be 9 October, we have decided to hold it on Sun 8th at our normal gathering time of 1 pm, to allow more people to attend. Please let us know if you can make it. Shaykh Ibrahim will also be running a zoom for those who want to attend online.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murshid Shaykh Taner Vargonen Ansari, on August 27, 2023/ Safar 10, 1445 AH at the age of 81.

‎إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون
Ina Lilahi Waina Ilahi Rajiun

At last night's Zikr, Shaykh Ibrahim talked about the importance of thinking and using the Aql (intelligent discrimination) when making decisions.

Made me think about the history of scientific and philosophical enquiry in Islam.

Here's a guy who was thinking about the multiverse in the 12th Century:

NEW ZIKR TIMES 2021

We are changing our times for Zikr (Ceremony of Remembrance) and Sohbet (Spiritual Discussion) at our Marayong Centre.�

From Sun 13th June, Zikr and Sohbet will be at 8pm Sundays, except for our monthly Big Zikr which will move to 8pm Saturdays. Big Zikr dates for the rest of 2021 will be announced soon.�Look forward to seeing you there!
