Due to Mrs Van Eyk being unavailable for the next 2 weeks, there will be no instrumental music lessons. Please keep practising for the next 2 weeks and during the holidays.

Don't forget our Term 2 assembly is on tomorrow at 2.20pm at Glenburnie Hall. All students will be dismissed from the Hall so parents will need to pick them up from there. Bus students will return to school and be supervised as normal.

How is it Week 8 already! Still lots of exciting things happening this term, keep an eye on here for all the details and keep checking and replying to your emails. We have transition for our mid year receptions, assembly and Governing Council meeting, When I Grow Up day, a pupil free day, Literacy Celebration, Movie Day and early dismissal on the last day of term. We will all need holidays after all of that.

Today our Year 5/6 class participated in Lions Mad Minute. They had to choose a subject at random and then speak on that subject for a minute. Now I hear you say 'But a minute isn't a long time.' But trust me, when you have only had about 15 seconds to read the topic, come up with some ideas to speak on it and then you have to start, a minute can feel like an eternity. Congratulations to everyone who spoke today, you all did an amazing job.
Now it is up to the winners to represent Glenburnie Primary School at the Grand Challenge in a few weeks time. Well done to Hannah, Effy and Isla, you all spoke so well. Best of luck to you all at the Grand Challenge.
