Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Year 7 students (2027) and their families to the first of our Information Evenings.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! We feel incredibly lucky that you have chosen Brentwood Secondary College for your child’s secondary education.
We are so excited to welcome our newest members of the Brentwood community and look forward to sharing the next six years of learning, growth and wonderful memories with you all. ❤️💙

Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Practice Adventurous Journey 🥾
On the 6th–7th of August, our 2026 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh cohort headed to Bunyip State Park for their Practice Adventurous Journey. Over two days, they challenged themselves with long hikes, navigation, camping and plenty of teamwork along the way.
Although it was physically demanding, the students rose to the challenge. They supported another, stayed positive and proved they could stand strong when placed outside their comfort zone.
Their four-day Qualifying Adventuours Journey will be held in late October. 🚶🥾🚶‍♀️

🛍️ MARKET DAY 2026! 🛍️
Today, our students took their learning from the classroom into the real world for Market Day! 💼✨
Designed as a hands-on learning experience, Market Day forms an important part of the SAC assessment for our Year 11 Business Management, Year 11 Accounting and our Year 11 Vocational Major students.
From planning and budgeting to marketing, sales, customer service and teamwork, our students put their skills to the test — bringing their business ideas to life and experiencing first-hand what it takes to run a successful market stall.
A fantastic day of creativity, enterprise and real-world learning! 👏📈💰

✨Brentwood Buzz hits the city!✨

A wonderful day of creativity, connection and storytelling, beginning with a tour and zine-making workshop at the State Library before heading to Melbourne University to explore the world of publishing and student media.

The day was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about pathways beyond Brentwood, connect with the wider writing community and gain insight into life at university.

Most importantly, it was a celebration of the supportive and inclusive community within Brentwood Buzz — bringing together students from Years 7–12 to share ideas, develop their voice and foster a genuine love of writing and storytelling. 📚✍️💫

It’s hard to believe that this time last week, we were getting ready to take the stage for opening night of The Addams Family Musical!
Now, just one week later, we’re looking back on an incredible production season and feeling incredibly grateful.🖤💛🤍

A huge thank you to every single person who played a part in bringing this year’s whole school production to life. From those who came along to support us in the audience, to the people who helped build and paint sets, helped us bump in and bump out, create props, sew costumes and make all the behind the scenes magic happen, we appreciate you more than words can say.🖤💛🤍

Productions like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, generosity and dedication of our amazing volunteers. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents and energy to help make The Addams Family Musical what it was.
We couldn’t have done it without you!

Running from Monday 24th August to Friday 28th August, with our Student Leadership team hosting a range of activities across the week designed to bring people together, build community and have some fun! 💙❤️
The Student Leadership team has put a huge amount of work into HEART Week, and we would love to see as many students as possible getting involved. 💙❤️
