TRIVIA NIGHT 2026!
The Brentwood Parents and Friends Association (PFA) are busy planning another fun-filled Trivia Night to be held on Friday 24 July.
The event will raise funds to support the 2026 Performing Arts whole-school production of The Addams Family.

There will be lots of fun and games on the night, great prizes to be won, as well as raffles and ‘lucky envelopes’!
This year we are also inviting everyone to dress up, the theme is Black/White/Delightfully Twisted/Wonderfully Unusual..

The night starts at 7 pm, and you can bring your own drinks (alcohol permitted) and snacks.
(Please note, there will be no food, or drinks are available to purchase at this event.)

This is an adults-only night. Children under 18 and current students are unable to attend.
Ex-students over 18, school staff, and our local community are all very welcome!

The wonderful cast of The Addams Family will be performing on the night, so you’ll get a sneak peek of this year’s show!

Round up your friends and book a table ($150 per table of 10) or purchase single tickets for $20 each.
We will make up teams for you, so you can meet some new people!

Tickets usually sell quickly, so get in fast! https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1595677

If you have a business and would like to donate goods or services for the event, please contact us at [email protected].
We will promote your business in the school newsletter and on the night.

This morning students from the class of 2023, 2024 and 2025 attended Government House to receive their Gold Award from the Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC!

We had the largest cohort of students in attendance (and there were a number who couldn’t attend) from any school (both government and independent). It was a privilege to share this moment with the students and their parents.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Cain for her dedication and passion for our Duke of Ed program and giving our students such an amazing experience.

Please help us in congratulating the following students on this outstanding achievement:
2023 – Theodora Koutsikos.
2024 – Andy Chesterfield, Grace Kingston, Mackenzie Eitzen, Michiko Versluis, Patrick Huang, Zoe Wright.
2025 – Abigail Moulds, Eva Gregson, Paige Bretherton, Samantha Whiley, Sarah Becker, Syke Maritz (current Year 12 students)

We would also like to acknowledge that all of our students have completed all three levels of the Award — Bronze, Silver and Gold — an achievement that is far less common than many people realise!

We look forward to celebrating additional Gold Award recipients at the second upcoming ceremony later this year.

Brentwood Secondary College proudly acknowledges National Reconciliation Week 2026 and this year’s theme, “All In; a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
National Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect on our shared history, recognise the cultures, histories and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and consider how we can all play a role in building respectful relationships and a more reconciled future.
At Brentwood, the message of being “All In” reflects our values of respect, responsibility and inclusion, reminding us that reconciliation requires all of us to listen, learn and take meaningful action together.
