The Cantabile School of Music is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and motivational music education in Melbourne. Congratulations on what was an inspiring day for 128 of our students who performed at our End of Year Concert - December 2025.
Our students worked so hard throughout the year, and it was wonderful to witness their performances on stage.
Thank you to all families for supporting their musical journeys and we are so proud of every performer.

Piano Express ➡️ Next Level
Jayden completed all levels from our Piano Express program in less than a year and is now performing repertoire beyond its levels ✨
The Piano Express is an accelerated learning experience that helps students play with confidence, curiosity and musical expression on the piano.

Our students have been working hard all year, and we can’t wait to see all the performances at our End-of-Year Student Concert on Sunday 30th November 2025.
It's a celebration of dedication, courage, and the joy of music, featuring also our String Orchestra in the final session of the day. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Before our orchestra took the stage last year, we asked our students a simple but powerful question: “What does it mean to feel included and to belong?” 💭
Their answers were heartfelt - reminding us that music is more than just simply learning how to play an instrument. It’s about connection, friendship, and being part of something bigger than ourselves. ❤️🎶

Workshops like these remind us that music education goes beyond just doing exams - it’s about nurturing creativity, confidence and learning to love what you play.
Over the school holidays our students took part in our Examination Workshop and challenged themselves to be better at one of the most difficult parts of being a musician - performing!

After 5 wonderful years, we are saying goodbye to our Mount Waverley location at the Cantabile School of Music.
Thank you to all the students, families, and teachers who have been part of our journey here. Your support and memories have been invaluable and we are truly grateful.
All music lessons will now continue at our Glen Waverley school location, where we look forward to welcoming everyone with the same dedication, care, and passion for music.
This is not the end — it's a new beginning, and we look forward to continuing our musical journey together 🎹🎻🎶

Welcome back to a brand new school year, everyone! We hope you've enjoyed your holidays with fulfilled events, or took advantage of all that time to relax! Now it's time to wake those musical senses again!
Over two weeks in January, we conducted AMEB Theory programs which allowed students to fast track through the content and prepare them for exams. In a span of 4 days, students were able to learn the entire grade and were well prepared to do the exam!
And for anyone interested in these programs, we hold at least one every year during the school holidays. Keep an eye out for emails and social media for these announcements.
