Small changes can have a big impact.
Just like getting used to showing your love more often, not just on Valentine's Day.
..
If unsure about the size of artwork, go large.
If you have lots of smaller framed photos, group them closer and create one larger piece of wall art with them.

The weekend is coming!!!
What book are you reading at the moment?
Do you have a special nook where you retreat in your downtime or can you just sit and read anywhere in your home?

ENTRY DOORS
No one likes a narrow one that makes you feel like you need to bend your head or lose some weight to get in.
In addition to the practicality of being able to bring furniture in and out, we all love a large entry door because it makes us FEEL WELCOMED.
It acts like a big embrace.
It also acts as a SIGNAL, an element that marks a transition (between public and private, between work and family life for some, between outdoors and indoors).
What do you want yours to say about the space you are about to go in?

In the background of what seems to be a simple outcome there are sometimes quite complex considerations to be solved.
Do not underestimate the team effort between the lines.

Everyone loves curved lines, but have you asked yourself WHY?
No, it is not because they are in trend, although there will always be people who are afraid to try something new.
It goes all the way back to our childhood, when we first experienced corners as being something that can hurt us.
A rounded end will instinctively feel SAFER.
We used to spend a lot more time outdoors back then...remember?
A line that is not perfectly straight feels more "NATURAL", reminding us of the perfect imperfections in nature.
Then...why so many straight lines in our buildings?
Well, leaving the ease and efficiency in construction aside, we humans need a bit of order and the feeling of control in order to feel good. Visual alignments help with that.
In a world bombarding us with competing images, our brain needs the space to pause. Clean lines, straight lines that we can easily process and interpret will help with that.
So... where do we use curved elements and how much is too much? No single correct answer.
We would suggest that starting the process with asking questions around what is achieved through that detail is the right way to go about this.
We say this curved canopy detail softening the facade is pretty sexy.
We'll disclose the secret about convex v.s. concave shapes another time ;)

The location and size of a window can
> ALLOW FOR flexibility in furnishing
> SUGGEST potential use of the space
> FACILITATE views
> ENCOURAGE behaviours (we love a bench seat plus book shelves underneath combo)
We added a sketch of what this space can lean towards. We could build the joinery in or....we can allow for the future buyers to take control of their space and personalise it.
Subconsciously, this helps feel more in control of your life in general. So let yourself be inspired to create your own sanctuary the way YOUR heart desires.
