This is a place where all children feel safe and included so they can grow, learn and play. A safe small group allows me to foster one-to-one relationships with each and every child. This enables me to structure our daily and weekly programs around the children’s individual development level and their own likes. As we focus on a more natural approach to our learning and activities there is minimal finished products. I believe in teaching children about the joys that nature can hold while also teaching the importance of recycling and sustainability.

Hi I am Jo Mother of two crazy ones, wife of a red head and A family day care educator at Little hands learning we are registered with Nature Alliance Located in Glen Iris WA.

We Have a little Mud cottage Where we can supply a home away from home to amazing little people. Little Hands Learning Family Day Care service provides the highest quality care to children of all ages in a safe and natural environment We focus on open-ended learning opportunities and learning through play within a welcoming home environment Children will receive individual attention within a small group setting that focuses on child led learning. To me, family day care means an extension to my family in a safe home, enriching environment were children learn beneficial life skills. Little hands learning supplies children with all Meals at no extra cost. Children are invested in meal planning and collection of food from the shops, eggs from the chickens and we will be planting our veggie patch real soon. With the knowledge and early exposure of how to meal plan and cook gives children the best start and much needed life skills. Little Hands Learning is committed to providing children with the knowledge and know how of a healthy lifestyle. Children will be involved learners in the garden and kitchen to support healthy life and healthy choices. This will be a major part of our program with giving children the opportunity to make their own meals
