Amadeus Piano Studio is a boutique studio, offering high quality education in classical piano. Based in Hawthorn East, Victoria the Studio provides individual piano tuition to students of all ages and levels, preparation for AMEB exams and piano accompaniment for all classical interments. The Studio is a certified music learning centre for the Vienna music Examination Board and hosts board
exams for all instruments. Amadeus Piano Studio was founded in August 2018 and for the past four years it was one of the leading providers of piano education in Tasmania. The studio was established by
husband and wife - Tuncay and Gergana Yildiz - award-winning pianists with PhDs in Piano Performance. WHO WE ARE
Tuncay and Gergana are highly qualified piano pedagogues and performers. They were brought-up with the Russian tradition of piano playing and are pupils of world-famous pianists. The couple met in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2007 while completing their Master degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts. Between 2009 and 2015, they lectured classical piano at the Trakya University in Edirne, Turkey. In December 2015, the couple moved to Australia due to Gergana’s PhD studies at the University of Tasmania, Conservatorium of Music. WHAT WE DO
At Amadeus Piano Studio, we work thoroughly on preparing students for all grades of AMEB exams. Our pupils have been demonstrating a high level of performance, which is evident through the high marks and the positive feedback on their AMEB performance exams. We also offer preparation program for auditions for Bachelor and master’s degree in performance. One of our students was successfully admitted to the Diploma of Music program, Classical piano stream at the University of Tasmania. Being pupils of the Russian piano school, we highly value the individual musical abilities of every student. After careful consideration of your capabilities and taste, we work towards designing an individual program aiming to improve each student to the best of their potential. We are experienced in teaching adults – this includes adult-beginners, who would like to try learning a new instrument; adults with a passion for classical music and those, seeking to revise their skills. We approach every individual with respect and thrive to provide the optimal training to meet your interests. At Amadeus Piano School, we recognize the importance of the stage appearance in the development of young performers. Therefore, we organize piano concerts at the end of each semester, where students are able to perform in a friendly environment. Gaining concert experience helps our students overcome stage anxiety and gives them the confidence to perform in front of an audience. FACILITIES:
In terms of facilities, the school provides the best optimal facilities for individual piano education. At the lesson, students play on YAMAHA concert grand piano (C-series) and another upright piano is available for demonstration. Along with an adjustable piano stool, an extension pedal is available to comfort our youngest pianists. With extensive experience in the field of individual piano tutoring, the couple offers world-class piano education in Melbourne.
