We can’t thank Rob, Lee and Grant from Rob Leach Equine enough for hosting us over the 2 weeks of the Futurity.

Fresh cattle, a watchful eye and having somewhere comfortable for ourselves and Cheeky to stay was unbelievable. We are extremely grateful for these good friends and their support. 👏🏼

2026 4Cyte NCHA Futurity. 🏆

Jon & Heza Hillbilly Cat “Cheeky” had a very successful show. With 5 solid and consistent scores on the board we saw them secure 3rd place in the NP Futurity. Such a fantastic result for such a lovely c**t who only keeps proving how special he is!

Big mention to Bridie for all the care and hard work at both the show and at home. It’s very much appreciated & doesn’t go unnoticed.

As anticipated the MOSTLY HILLS HHH Open proved to be a battle of the big guns. 3 rounds couldn't pick a winner, so the run off was on!

Congratulations to Pete O'Neill & Flutter winners with 91, 91, 91.5 & 88.5. The final so so close, Ben Hall & CHISUMS CASH (by RS Chisum) adding a 92, the top score in the final, to their 91 & 90.5 to match Pete.

Teles Two Times & Jon Templeton were one of 4 who ran 91.5, climbing the ranks from 10th place going in to the 27 horse final, to finish 5th overall.

Congratulations to all placegetters and to Matt Moffat who won the cutout with Reyv On Kitty.

Another Wallabah Excel in the spotlight, this time Pat Hardwick's beautiful mare SHADOWPARK XCLUSIVE.

Last weekend she & Jon Templeton won the Walgett Show Novice A draft after a 2-way run off, having qualified with a 90.

We've a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of this combination.
