Today, GIPS were excited to be visited by the Ride for Sick Kids team, raising money for the Ronald McDonald House. We met the riders, listened to the CEO of Ronald McDonald House and then listened to some bike safety information from Bill, one of the riders.

We learnt that the riders are currently riding from Glen Innes to Newcastle, approximately 500km over the next 5 days, averaging about 100km per day - they were heading to Armidale from Glen Innes.

The riders also donated 2 bikes to GIPS to raffle off. We raised over $200 to support the charity and were very excited to see Hudson and Alba drawn as the winners of the bikes. Thank you to the SRC for selling raffle tickets during their breaks last week.
