Today we went on an adventure to the fire station in Glen Innes as part of playgroup. 🙂🙂 We had a great time sitting in the fire truck and using the waterhose to put out a fire. It was a great day of learning in the community and the fire station will be having a open day in May that is open to the community a great day out for families to ask about fire safety and having in action plans for fire safety in the home. 🙂🙂🙂

Today Ashton, Addilynn and I explored the sand and water play table first up we created a volcano that was fantastic to watch explode letting Ashotn choose the colour. Then we created an underworld theme park using the plastic animals and the dramatic play slide. What a great fun park for the animals and mermaids awesome job Addilynn and Ashton.

Teaching kids to blow their own nose can be tricky. Children who are typically developing find blowing their own nose to be difficult and children with special needs may have an especially troubling time with independent nose blowing.

There are important parts of the development of the child to consider when it comes to nose blowing. Knowing what a child typically should be able to do in this personal care task can help parents determine if teaching nose blowing is feasible at different ages. We have had a busy week this week completing our Dafodil day flowers for Dafodil day. Here is a special Dafodil flower given by all the children to someone they love and a bunch of Dafodil flowers given to by the Girrahween day care to someone out there in need. Happy birthday to Isaac who is a fantastic 2 years of age today !!!🙂🙂 we had a fantastic morning playing in the park making wishes in the well and having lots of fun on the play equipment.
