A message from our amazing Assistant Principal (Years 3-6): Karissa Pedron
Good afternoon beautiful families of Glebe Public School,
As you have been emailed I have been successful in gaining a Relieving Principal position at Bronte Public School until the end of 2026. I start at Bronte on Monday 1 June which sadly means today is my last day working at this amazing school. I am feeling lots of beautiful emotions because teaching here for almost 6 years has been one of the highlights of my teaching/leadership career.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your
support and kindness throughout my time at this wonderful school. It has felt more like a family and from the moment I walked through the school gates I had the feeling that this was an incredibly special place to work.
From the moment I arrived, I have been overwhelmed by the warmth, energy and love of this diverse school community.
Glebe Public School is a school with an enormous heart and the best community spirit. I’ve been so fortunate to work alongside and the most dedicated and passionate team of teaching and support staff that work tirelessly to ensure every child thrives academically and socially. Teaching at this school is more than just a job for us and it has been a privilege to work with your beautiful children each day and witness them embracing the many fantastic opportunities on offer.
I am deeply grateful for the connections I have made throughout my time here and for the kindness and support extended to me from all corners of the school.
I appreciate your patience as the recruitment process for the Relieving Years 3-6 Assistant Principal is almost finalised. Mr Walker will update you on these changes next week once all students and staff have been informed.
Over the past couple of weeks have worked closely with the Executive Team to complete a thorough handover to ensure a smooth leadership transition for the students, staff and school community.
While I am excited for the next chapter ahead, leaving Glebe is certainly bittersweet. I will take with me many special memories of this incredible school community and will continue to watch Glebe Public School thrive from afar.
Thank you once again for all of your wonderful support during my time here. It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the Glebe Public School community.
