Join us for TheraPaws x R U OK? Day: Paws the Pressure!
WHEN: Thursday 10 September, 1pm - 3:30pm
WHERE: Isabel Fidler Memorial Garden, Cnr Manning Road and Fisher Road.

Come along between 1pm-3pm to meet a Therapy Dog, meet some like-minded peers and snap a memory with our Pup-Up Photobooth.

Research shows that a third of people don’t realise the difference they can make by checking in with someone they care about despite the fact that 9 in 10 of those who were asked, ‘are you OK?’, report feeling grateful, cared about, and supported.

We also know 1 in 4 people might hesitate to ask even when they think someone is struggling. That's why we're reminding everyone that if someone's on your mind, trust your instinct and start a conversation.

If you’re thinking it, Ask R U OK? Any Day because what people value most is trust, a sense of genuine care, and someone who really listens to them, without judgement.

🎓 What does a day in the life of a language student at USYD look like?

💬 Hear from our students about immersive hands-on learning, exciting overseas opportunities such as our program, student activities, and more that are offered through our wide range of language options across all proficiency levels.

🌏 What happens when you learn a language of another culture? According to the 16th Ambassador of Australia to Japan, you are on the pathway to becoming best at understanding the world we live in today – and so much more.

🌟 We were delighted to have alumnus Mr Bruce Miller AO as distinguished guest speaker at our 2026 Awards Ceremony, where he imparted words of wisdom from his decades-long career in public service and diplomacy about the magic of learning languages.
