We're back! After our 6 week overseas trip it was lovely to welcome back all our friends, and a big welcome to Miss H who has recently joined us.
Lots of dancing, singing, painting and shopping today. We did try a bit of outdoor time, but it was a bit chilly even for me!

A few years ago Miss R asked me 'what does that question say?' She was only 3.5 years old at the time and couldn't read the words. I asked her how she knew it was a question, she said, 'because it has a question mark at the end'
Now everytime I'm setting up for the week I think of Miss R, and how it's never too early to introduce our little ones to language.

We've had a wonderful two weeks, which culminated in some Easter treats. This is the 4th Easter egg hunt the muskeeters have participated in at mvfdc so I had to make it different from all the other years. This year, the children had to use a map which helped them to find their own colour of Easter bunny 🐇 It was beautiful to watch the children so excited to find a bunny and also to see the older ones helping out their younger friends and siblings. That's what family day care is all about 🧡

Today we used golf balls and added paint for effect, to look at how gravity works. 🌌🚀 Two of the muskeeters were reunited today - they go to different schools. So, of course they wanted to do the experience with a shared box
