Gladstone West State School

This morning, we were thrilled to welcome Grant Mitchell, General Manager of Community Cricket and Infrastructure at Queensland Cricket and his wife Leith (a former Westie), to Gladstone West State School. Grant generously donated a fantastic collection of cricket equipment to our school, and we couldn’t be more excited!
This wonderful contribution will be put to great use in our PE lessons and sports events. A huge thank you to Queensland Cricket for supporting grassroots sport and helping us inspire the next generation of cricketers! 🏏👏

Dear Parents/carers, Yesterday at Tony Martin Cup Rugby League game one of our players used their own kicking tee during the game. We could not find after the game. Can you please check your child’s footy bag. It would be great if found, can you return to office if you do find. Cheers Mr H***e.
