Trinity College is excited to host the H2GP Grand Final on Wednesday 2 September! Our team will race its hydrogen-powered car against teams from other participating schools. We wish our secondary students all the very best for this exciting event!

Giving Back & Getting Trackside! 🏁🍔

Our Interact Rotary students were out and about at the Benaraby Drag Races on Saturday, volunteering their time and giving back to the local community! 🙌

The students got stuck in — flipping burgers, cooking snags and helping out wherever they were needed — before enjoying the bonus of watching some awesome drag racing action! 🏎️💨

A huge THANK YOU to Rotary Gladstone Sunshine for supporting our Interact students and helping make this fantastic opportunity possible. Your support gives our students the chance to develop their teamwork, community spirit and volunteering skills while having a bit of fun along the way!

📚✨ BOOK WEEK 2026: SYMPHONY OF STORIES ✨🎶

Book Week will be celebrated from Monday, 24 August to Friday, 28 August. Dr Seuss’s Fox in FUNKY socks Tuesday, 25 August (wear some fun socks) and of course dressing up as their favourite book character on the Friday with a PARADE at chapel. Primary Book Parade and Secondary Dress-Up Day on Friday, 28 August.

Our main Primary School activity will be a musical, fairy-inspired treasure hunt featuring fun rhyming clues. Students will participate with their year level during an allocated first-break time or as part of their scheduled library lesson.

A variety of indoor activities will also be available in the library during first break for students who would prefer a quieter option.

To help make the celebrations enjoyable, safe and respectful for everyone, we kindly ask families to observe the following dress guidelines:

• Costumes should reflect our College’s Christian values and ethos. Please avoid themes involving wizardry, including Harry Potter, as well as Halloween, zombies, skeletons and similar characters.

• Clothing should be modest, respectful and appropriate for our school environment.

• Costumes must not be violent, offensive or frightening. Weapons and weapon-like accessories are not permitted.

• Students should wear safe, suitable footwear for a full day of school activities.

• Students should wear sun safe clothing.

We look forward to a joyful week filled with imagination, creativity and a shared love of books and reading! 📖🌟

🏕️ Year 9 Camp Update - Adventures at Emu Gully!

Our Year 9 students have been enjoying an action-packed camp filled with teamwork, adventure and plenty of fun! Students challenged themselves through a range of team-building activities before experiencing the excitement of off-road buggy driving. 🚙💨

These activities encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, communicate effectively, support one another and build resilience. It has been wonderful to see them working together, strengthening friendships and creating lasting memories.

We pray that God continues to keep our students and staff safe as they enjoy the rest of their camp! 🙏🌿

🌊 Year 11 Camp Update – An Unforgettable Day on the Reef! 🐠

Our Year 11 students joined ReefSeeker for an incredible day on the water! With fantastic weather and near-perfect conditions, students made the most of this amazing opportunity to snorkel, explore the reef and experience the breathtaking beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. 🤿☀️

As if the reef wasn’t spectacular enough, the group was also treated to sightings of multiple pods of humpback whales throughout the day—a truly unforgettable experience! 🐋

A huge thank you to the wonderful ReefSeeker guides and crew for making the day so enjoyable, informative and memorable for our students. We are grateful for the beauty of God’s creation and for this incredible experience our students could share together. 💙

🏕️ Our Year 9 students have headed off to Emu Gully Adventure Education Group yesterday for an exciting camp experience! Throughout the camp, students will be challenged to step outside their comfort zones, strengthen their teamwork and leadership skills, and encourage one another through a range of memorable activities. We pray that God keeps our students and staff safe and blesses them with courage, resilience and lasting friendships. Have an incredible time, Year 9! 🌿👏

🏕️ Our Year 11 students have headed off to BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort for their camp yesterday! Over the coming days, they will enjoy exciting activities, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories together. We pray that God keeps our students and staff safe throughout their travels and that this camp encourages teamwork, personal growth and a deeper sense of community. Have an amazing time, Year 11! 🌴☀️
