We are so excited to share with you an
expansion of our Sports Program - The Junior Sports
Program.
Aimed at junior sporting clubs, this mental health
program is designed for junior athletes, coaches and
parents. The support and feedback from sporting
clubs has been overwhelming in recent years and we
recognise the need to start sparking positive mental
health conversations with our young people.
The Junior Sports Program will operate statewide
and is available to all sporting clubs. The program
provides a FREE 45min presentation to junior
athletes, introducing ways they can recognise stress
and pressure within their body and mind. It will also
provide evidence-based strategies to manage and
regulate their stress response including breathing
exercises, mindful movement, and grounding
activities. (
The Program also offers a free 60min presentation to
junior coaches and parents. Exploring the same
topics and concepts from our athlete presentation,
whilst also delving deeper into ways we can help our
young people manage the unique stressors
experienced in sport and more broadly in their daily
lives.💜
