Yesterday, our school community came together to celebrate Wear It Purple Day, a day dedicated to inclusion, belonging and creating safe, supportive environments where everyone can be themselves.
It was wonderful to see our students and staff wearing purple and showing their support for a school community where every person is valued, respected and included.
A special thank you to our staff and students who came together to bake and run our Wear It Purple Day Bake Sale.
Together, our bake sale raised an amazing $1,039.50! 💜

There will be no classes for students tomorrow as our staff come together for a day of professional learning and curriculum planning.
Enjoy the extra day and we’ll see everyone back at school ready to learn on THURSDAY 27th August.

Our 6th term of Family Kitchen Workshops brought us two full nights of cooking, learning and connecting — and this term, we had a little taste of a classic pub night!
Families enjoyed cooking up chicken parmas, wedges and a side salad, followed by a delicious apple crumble. The evening was rounded out with a pub quiz, bringing plenty of fun, teamwork and friendly competition to the kitchen.
These workshops are such a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together, build confidence in the kitchen and share a meal — and we are incredibly grateful to Omnia Community Health for supporting this event and helping make these experiences possible.

We’re incredibly proud of the open space our students get to enjoy every day. Set across over 19 acres, our school grounds provide room to move, explore, create and be part of something bigger.
From our stadium and oval to theatre, Indigenous Garden and Kitchen Garden, there are so many spaces for students to learn beyond the classroom, get active, connect with others and simply enjoy being at school.
It’s more than just space — it’s an environment that supports curiosity, wellbeing, connection and growth.

❄️ We hope our students and staff are enjoying a well-deserved lie-in this morning after a fantastic week at Snow Camp 2026!
From skiing to snowboarding, our students made the most of the incredible conditions, embraced new challenges and created some truly epic memories along the way.
A huge well done to everyone who took part for their enthusiasm, resilience and willingness to give things a go. We’re sure there are plenty of stories to share — and perhaps a few tired legs to recover! ⛷️🏂

The Macedon Ranges Battle of the Bands will feature TWO GSC VET Music bands battling it out for some incredible prizes. Come along and support Saile and Felonys TONIGHT at the Kyneton Town Hall. Bookings are essential, last year was a sell out!

Last Friday was Principal Appreciation Day, a wonderful opportunity to recognise the people who lead, support and care for our school community every day.

We’re incredibly grateful for the work our Principal team does to support our students and staff, create opportunities for growth, and help our school community thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to our Acting Principal, Suzie Harrison, and Assistant Principals, Lauren Anglin and Russell Wigginton, for the time, care, energy and commitment they bring to our school each day.

Thank you for all that you do, not just on Principal Appreciation Day, but every day.

The Year 10 students filled the food rooms with the delicious smell of homemade pizza as they made their own bases from scratch and customised their pizzas to suit their dietary requirements.
From kneading and shaping to choosing their toppings, it was a hands-on lesson in practical skills, creativity and making food work for different needs.
And the age-old debate made an appearance too… olives and pineapple on pizza: a match made in heaven, or a culinary crime? 😄🍍🫒
Either way, there were plenty of happy faces — and some very tasty-looking pizzas!
