During these school holidays, we have been busy completing the construction of our new decking area for students to enjoy during playtime and outdoor learning. This fantastic addition to our school grounds has been made possible thanks to funds raised by our Parents and Friends Association (PFA).

A sincere thank you to our wonderful school community for your ongoing support of PFA fundraising events. Your generosity has helped create another engaging and welcoming space for our students to play, connect and learn.

GPS Big Freeze – Staff Dunking Challenge! 🧊💙

On Friday 12 June, our wonderful community leaders took on the chilly challenge of dunking our teachers with ice-cold water as part of our GPS Big Freeze Fundraiser!

The event was held to raise funds and awareness for FightMND, supporting the important work being done to fight Motor Neurone Disease.

The students had a fantastic time watching the action unfold, cheering on their favourite teachers and enjoying plenty of laughs along the way. Our staff showed great spirit (and bravery!) as they stepped up for this fun and meaningful cause.

A big thank you to everyone who got involved, donated, and helped make the day such a memorable one. Together, we helped make a difference!
We raised in total $587.40💙

The Gisborne Girls AFL 9s brought it all — relentless pressure, true resilience, and incredible teamwork from start to finish. They backed each other every step of the way and played with heart when it mattered most.
When the grand final went into overtime and the pressure peaked, they lifted again — turning on the jets and taking control to secure a convincing win.
A phenomenal team effort. Well deserved champions 🏆
