Lunch Time Clubs have been given a Book Week "Symphony of Stories" twist this week. As well as costume making, soft toy character plays, reader's theatre, and bookmark design, today we learned about the Pentatonic Scale to create our own symphony using percussion instruments.

🏙️ Our Big Idea: Build a Kind City! 💛

What happens when science, creativity, teamwork and kindness come together? You get a city with a BIG heart! 🏗️❤️

Our students are working together to build a giant LEGO city that shows how great ideas can grow—and how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a BIG difference.

As our city takes shape, we’ll be learning to:

🔬 Think like scientists – testing our LEGO buildings to see if they are strong, stable and ready to stand tall!

🏗️ Create like engineers – designing imaginative spaces where everyone feels welcome, included and able to get around.

🤝 Work as a team – listening to different ideas, sharing our thinking and making fair decisions together.

🌎 See the bigger picture – discovering how small acts, like helping a friend or including someone, can make our whole community stronger.

Just like a great LEGO city, a great community is built one small piece at a time—with kindness, inclusion and teamwork at its heart. 💕🧱

P&C News
Thank you so much for all the students and their families who joined us at the School Disco yesterday. It was such a fun night.

A big thank you to all the families that donated canteen items - your support was very much appreciated.

The disco is a great fundraiser for the P&C and profits support us with the bills required by the P&C to operate. We thank you for your support.

Year 5 had a fantastic time hosting today’s assembly 🌟
There were plenty of highlights, including some seriously impressive dance moves 💃🕺, interesting discussions about different perspectives, and a chance to share what they had learnt through using Venn diagrams.

It was wonderful to see the students confidently sharing their ideas, learning from one another and, of course, having a bit of fun along the way! 🎉📚✨
