Dear Families

For safety reasons, parents and caregivers must NOT enter the staff carpark off of Alton Avenue under any circumstances.

This area is reserved for Staff, Official Visitors, and Vehicles Displaying a Valid Disability Permit ONLY. It is not a drop‑off or pick‑up zone. We are noticing several parents/caregivers dropping children off in the carpark and these students are having to navigate their way to the gates, sometimes narrowing missing cars.

Children must never be in the staff carpark. Moving vehicles, reversing blind spots and unpredictable foot traffic create an environment where a child can be seriously injured in seconds. Even brief entry into this area places students at significant and entirely avoidable risk.

Unauthorised vehicles create dangerous blind spots and greatly increase the likelihood of an accident.

A designated pedestrian path was installed when the carpark was redesigned which allows pedestrians, students and families to access the school grounds safely and without entering the carpark. Please ensure you use this path as entry into the school or one of our other entry gates.

We ask all families to support our commitment to student safety by following this rule every day.
