⚽️ St Laurence’s Soccer Gala Day ⚽️

Last Friday, 57 of our fantastic Joey’s Primary students headed to Dubbo to take part in the St Laurence’s Soccer Gala Day!

Our students represented Joey’s with pride, showing fantastic sportsmanship both on and off the field and “Giving Of Their Best.”

A huge congratulations to all our students for their teamwork, enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout the day!

Everyone looked great in their jeans today as we participated in Jeans for Genes Day. We raised a wonderful $264 for this worthwhile cause to help fund research for childhood genetic diseases. Well done everyone!

Yesterday the Joeys team of 44 athletes made us proud at the 2026 Western Region Athletics Carnival in Dubbo. Congratulations to all our amazing athletes, we had some wonderful results and think you are all stars!

Congratulations to our Year 6 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St Joseph's Church yesterday.

It was a beautiful celebration, led by Bishop McKenna and Fr Diep, as our students took this important step in their faith journey, followed by a wonderful celebratory breakfast shared together in the school hall.

We thank everyone who helped make the day so special, and extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Year 6 students and their families on this joyful occasion.

Everyone was very colourful at school today as students and staff came dressed in the colours of their favourite footy teams. The purpose of our 'Footy Colours' Day was to raise awareness for kids affected by cancer. This wonderful initiative was organised by our Year 6 Leaders, who did a fantastic job encouraging the whole school community to take part. 🏉❤️💙💛💚🏉

Well done to everyone who dressed up, embraced the fun and showed their team spirit while making a difference! 👏💙

We were thrilled to hear that our amazing ski star had a fantastic time competing in the Interschools Snow Sports Competition at Thredbo in the school holidays. He placed in the top 35 of all skiers in the Alpine (Mini Slalom) and Ski Cross events, where there was only nine seconds separating him and 1st place! What an incredible opportunity and experience to be part of such an event and to be the very first Joey’s student to attend! Congratulations on this fantastic accomplishment. Well done!
