🐰🐹 A big thank you Dr Gracie and Nurse Sam for making sure our animal friends are healthy! 🐹🐰

The children watched and learned as Flopsy the guinea pig had a health check, and Bluey and Bingo the bunnies received their health check, nail clip and annual vaccination.

It was a wonderful learning experience that helped the children understand how vets care for animals, what a health check involves, and how we can be kind and responsible animal carers.

Celebrating 10 amazing years of Maddi! 💙🎉

Over the past decade, we’ve had the absolute privilege of watching Maddi grow both personally and professionally. From completing her Certificate III, Diploma and ECT degree, to getting married, welcoming her two beautiful babies, and stepping into her leadership role as Assistant Manager, her journey has been so special to witness. ✨

Maddi’s bubbly and caring personality, dedication, leadership and passion for early childhood education shine through in everything she does. Her commitment to our children, families and team has helped shape Kidz Retreat into the beautiful service it is today.

She is such a valued part of our service, and we are incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Kidz Retreat family. 💙

We had a fantastic time attending the MEEDAC Midwest Community & Employment Expo!

It was such a great opportunity to connect with local services, meet new faces, and share what we’re all about here at Kidz Retreat. Our team loved chatting with the community about our programs, our passion for early childhood education, and the nurturing environment we provide for our little learners.

We are so excited to share that we’ve added a beautiful range of new toys and learning materials to our rooms!

From natural and cultural resources, sensory play items, and loose parts, to construction toys, vehicles, and imaginative play setups. There’s something for every child to explore, create, and enjoy.

These resources have been thoughtfully chosen to support:
🌈 Creativity and imagination
🧠 Problem-solving and early learning
🤝 Social interaction and teamwork
🌱 Connection to culture and the environment

We can’t wait to see the children engaging with these new resources and following their interests through play.
