Great to address the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry- MWCCI Mid West Economic Summit today, advocating for the need for fully accessible courses from WA Uniโ€™s that allow regional people to have an equitable choice of university courses that they can complete where they live.
Allowing regional people to fully participate in the jobs of the future is the least we should have to ask for.
A big component of the USQ School of Nursing & Midwifery Bachelor of Nursing course is residential schools where our students learn the clinical skills needed to qualify as a Registered Nurse. Under the expert tutelage of Academic Course Coordinator, Dr Stephanie Millns Sizer, the GUC runs residential schools right here at our campus, and also at the excellent simulated hospital ward facilities at Central Regional TAFE.
