So thrilled to welcome special guests Emeritus Professor Simon Forrest and Mrs Roni Forrest to our Reconciliation Week Morning Tea this morning. We asked Simon and Roni to officially name our Aboriginal Learning Space - MAGABARNDI NGURRA (Wajarri) meaning Clever Place.
Simon and Roni have a very special connection to the GUC (as we have to them), as champions for Aboriginal education at all levels here in the MId West and across all of WA and Australia. THANK YOU! 🙏

Same here at GUC - all our Directors have been women! No wonder we're such great partners with CQUniversity Australia.

Did you know that a majority of leadership positions at CQU are held by women?

We're incredibly proud of that statistic!

“As an equal opportunity employer CQUniversity has filled roles based on a merit and skills-based recruitment process so as a female member of the senior executive team, it makes me proud to see that women are being given equal opportunities and that they are able to excel within their chosen fields.” - Acting Deputy Vice-President, Barbara Miller.
