School photos are coming up soon!

To assist with your preparations, please refer to the attached photo schedule to see when your child's class is scheduled to have their photographs taken.

Please also take note of the scheduled times for group photographs, including Music Groups, Student Leadership Groups, the School Representative Netball Team, and Graduation Photos. Checking these times in advance will help ensure students are prepared and available for their group photos.

We recommend ensuring students arrive at school on time and are wearing the correct school uniform on their allocated photo day.

This Week, We're Celebrating Book Week!

Students can visit the library this week to take part in a range of fun competitions, including a colouring competition and a Guess the Emoji quiz based on the CBCA shortlisted books. The library will be open during recess and lunch for students wishing to complete their entries.

Important: This year we're doing something a little different, with our Book Week Dress Up Parade being incorporated into our Open Art Night on Thursday, 24 September. Further details about the event and dress-up arrangements will be shared closer to the date.

We look forward to celebrating reading, creativity, and our students' artistic talents together.

Rooms 1 & 2 Assembly This Friday

Parents/Carers of students in Rooms 1 & 2 are reminded to check Seesaw, where classroom teachers have shared details regarding this Friday's assembly.

In 2025, our Your Move committee reached GOLD accreditation for our work to Inspire Generations to choose active transport. This year, we have an exciting announcement… WATCH THIS SPACE … I wonder what it could be?

We love our historic school

It's Science Week at GPS, and we have an exciting week of learning, discovery and hands-on fun ahead!

Our Science Teacher, Ms Johnson, has planned an incredible range of activities and experiences for students to enjoy throughout the week.

We can't wait to see our students embracing their curiosity and celebrating all things science during Week 4!

What a treat we had this morning on the Foreshore, meeting members of the Falcons cycling team and enjoying a free milkshake! We loved hearing about their racing bikes, safety tips, and their advice and stories about how they got into racing. It all started by ... “riding to school”! The morning was extra special as the Falcons rode alongside us to help us ride safely to school. Thank you Falcons, Backroads Gravel, Spokes Cycle Club and the GPS Your Move committee for giving us this wonderful opportunity! 💛🩵
