🌟🌟In 3 Minds Psychology Services (Amy) and Foster Your Mind (Kate) are running this day session again, suitable for parents, carers, educators, or anyone that has ADHD and/or Autism in their world 💖

Bookings are open and places are limited - in3minds.com.au/understandingadhdandasd 🌟🌟

The Understanding ADHD & Autism workshop is suitable for families of young children or teens who might be considering an assessment/diagnosis for their child or who have received a recent diagnosis!

The session includes additional information regarding early signs to look out for, strategies to support your child & making the best of those conversations with your child's school or Education and Care service!

Today is ‘National OSHC educator day’

🐰 Cuteness alert
Last week we had a visit from some very cute baby bunnies - the children were so gentle with them 💕

🙏thank you to our friend who bought them to visit

😞no we can’t keep them

🐦 the children also spotted a cool visitor to our chicken coup, “it has purple feathers on its wings”

Week 2 of our holiday adventures kept us all busy and the weather was perfect for being outdoors.
We enjoyed group games with silly clown pants, a puppet show created by one of our friends, a silent disco, a trip to a nature playground and craft craft and more craft 🎨
The sandpit and loose parts play space moved, moulded and became new adventures each day, this is the part we love at Naturescape, where we cant predict the play that will emerge 🍃
Thank you to all of our families who chose Kids Hub Naturescape for their children during the holidays - we hope you all have a great term 3.

What an awesome first week of holidays with our busy 🐝’s

A snippet of our week includes:
🚌 excursions into our community, we visited the Flotsam & Jetsam exhibition and the Cosmic echoes indigenous art exhibition at the Museum.
🚌 Bus bingo was a favourite again, travelling around our beautiful city spotting landmarks
🎨 Soooo much creativity in our art studio, we took our art out into the fairy garden too where it was nice and chill
🛞 Loose parts play has been huge, with many bases and camp sites being build around the yard
🏴‍☠️ Pirate and 🧚 day was fun with costumes and treasure hunts (with real treasure to be found)
🪶 Relaxing in the hammocks and watching the birds visit our space
🫶 Making new friends and catching up with those friends we only see at Kids hub in the holidays

School holidays are here again💙

We LOVE winter holidays because it allows us to play ALOT outdoors without that pesky UV rating sending us indoors. ( we still keep an eye on it 😉)

🔥 We enjoy fire pit time and we are going to celebrate NAIDOC week.

🎨 Craft is ready to go .. get ready parents for the creations coming home

🍃 Our yard is set for open ended play🐞🐝🐌

🎲 Indoors our space is set for Board games, imaginative play and of course a chill zone

🧩 We can’t wait to see you all on Monday

Last week in our loose parts space, the children dreamed up a flying fox and then set to work to make it happen.
With loose parts we cannot predict the outcome of play.
The skills the children often use are collaboration, decision making, risk analysis, turn taking, solving problems and much more.

Today is international day of play

🍃 We live and breathe “play” at Kids Hub everyday, but today is a reminder for all of us to advocate for TIME for PLAY for all children.

Mornings and Afternoons at NatureScape (just a snippet of our fun)
