🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Interschool Cross Country 2026 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Today our students represented Waggrakine Primary School at the Interschool Cross Country held at GBSC Sports Park.

We are incredibly proud of the determination, resilience and sportsmanship shown by all competitors. Every student gave their best effort and supported one another throughout the day.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to the staff, families and supporters who helped make the day a success! 👏💙💚🧡

🌟 What's On in Week 8! 🌟

🏊‍♀️ Swimming Lessons Continue throughout Week 8 for students in TA14, TA18, TA5, TA11, ESP4, TA8 and TA2.

⚠️ Reminder: Payment and consent forms must be received by Monday morning. If you have not yet returned these, please do so as soon as possible.

🏃 Monday: A selected group of students will represent our school at the Interschool Cross Country event. We wish them the very best of luck!

🧮 Tuesday: Selected students will be competing in the Numero Competition. Good luck to all participants!

💛 Thursday: R U OK? Day
Our canteen will be offering some yummy yellow-themed treats to help us celebrate the day and promote the important message of checking in with friends, family and those around us. They are encouraging students to add a touch of yellow to their school uniform by wearing something like yellow socks, scrunchies, hair ribbons or other accessories.

We look forward to another exciting week filled with learning, participation and school spirit! 🌟

What a wonderful way to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day!

Students enjoyed participating in a variety of traditional Indonesian games, bringing laughter, teamwork, and cultural learning together. These activities provided a meaningful opportunity to learn about Indonesia's heritage while having fun with friends.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so memorable! 🎉

Please make sure payment and permission forms are in by Monday so your child can attend.

Kindy, PP and ESP classes will visit between breaks with their teachers.

🎶 BOOK WEEK 2026: SYMPHONY OF STORIES 🎶📚

This Book Week, we celebrated the theme, “Symphony of Stories” — recognising how every book adds its own unique voice to the wonderful world of reading.

Our Year 3- 6 students and staff in the video, brought their favourite stories to life through colourful costumes, creative characters and a shared love of books. It was wonderful to see our school filled with imagination, excitement and the joy of reading! Thanks to Mrs Jerovich for the video 😊
