In the lead up to NAIDOC Week, our students continued their learning about the history, significance and celebrations of NAIDOC Week and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.
To mark the occasion, they participated in a creative craft activity, designing and making colourful wristbands inspired by the themes of culture, connection and community.

It is a pleasure to welcome our students and their families back to St Gabriel's School for Term 3, including our new families joining us this term.
As we start refreshed and renewed for another term of learning and celebration, we share a Prayer:

On the Feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle, we honour the disciple who moved from doubt to profound faith, proclaiming “My Lord and my God.”
As the patron Saint of India, this day holds special meaning for many and reminds us that questioning can lead to deeper belief and truth.
We extend our warmest wishes to our Indian community celebrating today. May St Thomas inspire all those in our community to seek, trust, and grow in faith, with open hearts and hopeful spirits.

Feast of the Sacred Heart Day was extra special, as we celebrated the day with our fellow heart people, our OLSH buddies!

Classrooms were filled with colouring, creativity, and meaningful connections. A shared morning tea was well enjoyed, and our students loved proudly showing their buddies around the school during break time, making a joyful and memorable day.
