Congratulations to our three talented students who represented HopePoint at the CSSA Primary State Athletics Carnival! 🙌🏽

All three performed exceptionally well in their respective events, with each achieving a personal best! 🌟

🥇 Boaz – 1st in High Jump (1.43m)
🥇🥈 Mia I – 1st in Shot Put (8.85m) and 2nd in Discus (22.40m)
🌟 Willow – 8th in the 200m

And a big congratulations to Boaz and Mia I, who have qualified for the NSWCIS Primary Athletics Championships! 🎉

The countdown to Book Week is on! ⏰

At Chapel today, 1 Green highlighted many of the books they have studied so far this year. From The Gruffalo to I’m Australian Too, students presented a wonderful range of stories and shared why books can capture the imagination of even the pickiest reader. 📕

They concluded their presentation with the song Why Won’t You Open a Book?, challenging everyone to stop scrolling, start turning pages and discover where a good book can take you! 📚

Last week we had 24 of our students proudly represent HopePoint at the OzTag Gala Day, with both a Junior and Senior team taking to the field for a fantastic day of competition. 🏉

Despite the persistent rain, our students demonstrated outstanding resilience, determination and sportsmanship from the first game to the last. Their teamwork, encouragement and positive attitude were evident throughout the day, whether making a great play on the field or cheering on their teammates from the sidelines. 💪🏽 🥳

We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented HopePoint, displaying perseverance and integrity in challenging weather conditions while giving their very best in every match. 🙌🏽

It was fantastic to welcome Macarthur Bulls FC to HopePoint for a fun-filled soccer workshop. Our students had a wonderful time learning from experienced coaches, developing their soccer skills, and participating in a range of engaging drills. ⚽️ 🥅

Throughout the session, students worked on passing, dribbling, ball control and teamwork, while also building confidence. 🤗

Today our Year 1 students enjoyed an exciting day of discovery at the Australian Museum, where learning came to life through hands-on experiences and fascinating exhibits. 🏛️

Students explored incredible dinosaur fossils, amazing Australian animals and lots of sparkling minerals and gems. 🦕 🦖 🦴

The excursion sparked curiosity and encouraged students to ask questions, make observations and connect their classroom learning with the world around them. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore science and history in an engaging and memorable way.
