Year 10 Introduction to Health

After eleven weeks of hard work, learning and growth, our Year 10 students undertaking the Introduction to Health course are putting their skills and knowledge to the test today in a full day of assessments.

This is more than just an assessment day. It's a chance for students to reflect on how far they've come, demonstrate what they've learned, and take another step towards future opportunities in the health sector.

Throughout the course, students have developed valuable knowledge, explored health industry pathways and gained practical insights into one of Australia's most important sectors.

We are proud of your effort, resilience and enthusiasm throughout the course.

Thank you to Tas TAFE trainers, Trish and Dani for mentoring, supporting and guiding our students through this program.

πŸ”₯ Engineering Pathways in Action! πŸ”₯

Our Certificate II in Engineering Pathways (MEM20422) students have been developing their practical workshop skills as part of MEMPE003 - Use oxy-acetylene and soldering equipment.

This week, students focused on using oxy-acetylene equipment to cut straight lines and circles, building accuracy, control, and confidence while following safe workshop practices.

These hands-on activities help students develop valuable industry skills and gain experience with equipment commonly used in engineering and fabrication workplaces.

Well done to all students for their commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement! πŸ‘βš™οΈπŸ”§

🚧 Building skills. Creating opportunities. Setting students up for success! 🚧

Our Senior Secondary students have successfully completed their CPCCWHS1001 White Card training, gaining valuable workplace safety knowledge and an industry-recognised qualification.

This important qualification is more than just a card. It provides students with essential workplace health and safety knowledge while opening doors to future employment opportunities in the construction and trades industries.

By developing industry-ready skills and understanding safe work practices, our students are taking another step toward successful careers and exciting pathways beyond school.

Well done to everyone involved. We are proud to see our students investing in their futures and building strong foundations for success. Congratulations to all students for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the training.

Thank you to Pete from TasBgas for delivering this skill to our students and Keystone Tasmania for funding this program.
