The Geelong Regional Hockey Academy

We often talk about Bendigo being a great sporting city, and this week is another fantastic example.

🏑 The 2026 Hockey Australia Country National Championships are being held right here at the Bendigo Hockey Centre from 8-15 August, bringing together the best country hockey players from across Australia. With 12 teams and 38 matches across seven days, there will be high-quality hockey on display all week long.

Events like this don't happen by accident. Through partnerships between sporting organisations, local clubs, volunteers and the City of Greater Bendigo, we're continuing to attract major events that showcase our city and bring elite competition to our community.

If you're looking for something to do this week, I'd encourage you to head down to the Bendigo Hockey Centre and support these outstanding athletes. You'll see some of the country's best regional hockey talent in action, right here in Bendigo.
