What a wonderful Pyjama Day we had yesterday! Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we raised an incredible $420 for The Pyjama Foundation.

Our Prep students had a fantastic time at their Pyjama Party, enjoying story time, dancing, playdough, a colouring competition, keepy-uppy and plenty of fun!

Congratulations to our student leaders for planning and leading such an engaging celebration for the Preps. We are very proud of the enthusiasm and leadership they demonstrated.

Yesterday afternoon, our JLC students led a beautiful liturgy to recognise and celebrate the 'International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples'.

The liturgy provided an opportunity for our students and school community to reflect on the rich cultures, traditions, stories and contributions of Indigenous peoples around the world.

We are incredibly proud of our JLC students for the confidence and respect they showed as they led our community in prayer. 🙏✨

The MLC enjoyed a day of tranquility today in preparation for our upcoming Eucharist celebration. We moved at a slower pace as we reflected, discussed and connected to with our spiritual side, and with God. Our students loved taking time to immerse themselves in self reflection. They enjoyed many different activities, especially our shared meal.

Today our staff participated in a pilgrimage led by Chris Hansen to strengthen our Catholic mission.

Although we were unable to head to Ta’ Pinu as originally planned due to the weather, we journeyed to St Mary’s Basilica to walk the Stations of the Cross before returning to school to reflect on how we can bring the themes of justice, compassion, forgiveness and hope into our work with students and our wider school community.

It was a meaningful opportunity for our staff to pause, journey together and reflect on how we can continue to strengthen and live our Catholic mission each day. 🙏✨

The 2026 national NAPLAN results have now been released, and we’re proud to share how wonderfully our students have performed.

Our results show achievement above the national results across Year 3 Reading, Writing and Numeracy, and Year 5 Reading and Writing.

These results reflect our Christ the King values in action: the responsibility our students take for their learning, the resilience they show when challenged, and the respect they demonstrate for themselves, one another and their teachers.

A wonderful achievement for our students, staff and families—and a proud moment for our whole school community.

What a fantastic day for our 40 students who represented our school at the District Athletics Carnival today! 🌟

Our students competed in a wide range of track and field events, showing great determination, perseverance and enthusiasm throughout the day!

One of the highlights of the day was seeing the incredible sportsmanship shown by our students. They proudly encouraged and celebrated their schoolmates while also supporting and congratulating competitors from other schools. This positive attitude and encouragement made us incredibly proud!

A huge congratulations to all students who represented our school today. You should be so proud of the way you competed, supported others and represented our school community. Well done! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🇮🇹 Last Thursday, our students enjoyed a wonderful Italian Day filled with fun, food and learning! Throughout the day, students took part in a range of Italian-themed activities in their classrooms, celebrating the language and culture they learn each week.

The celebrations were made even sweeter with delicious pizza and gelato, making it a memorable day for everyone.

The MLC have been very busy! On Friday we flew back in time with The History Box popping in for a very engaging and interactive incursion. We loved learning about The First Fleet and the events surrounding their arrival in Australia. Our hosts entertained us with interesting stories, classic games and old school activities. We really enjoyed some of our brave and enthusiastic students dressing up to help bring these stories to life!

Last week, we had the most amazing week in the MLC! Our entire week was dedicated to aeroplanes. We learnt about famous pilots and inventors, the history of flight, as well as developing an understanding of how planes fly. Students all built their own model planes out of balsa wood and every single one of them got off the ground. We are so proud of the engagement and positive energy our students brought to the week!
