The Deakin Engineering Society was established in 1994 by students to foster community amongst Engineering students at Deakin Waurn Ponds.
Since then, DES has been run by students, for students and aims to foster an inclusive social culture at Deakin.

As a subcommittee member, you could be involved in:

❗️Running events on the day (ushering, registering attendees, etc.)
❗️Filming social media content
❗️Editing and creating social media content
❗️Outreach to students across campus
