After almost two years of planning and development, we're proud to have officially launched the 'Clean Energy Training Hub' at The Gordon's East Campus.

Made possible through the Victorian Government's Clean Energy Equipment Fund, delivered through the Department of Education's Tech School branch, the hub gives students access to hands-on experiences with renewable energy technologies while exploring the careers that will power Australia's future.

Last week, we welcomed over 130 students from nine local schools to the first-ever Regional Student Voice Conference.

Students from Years 7–12 came together to share ideas, tackle real issues, and show what true leadership looks like. Their passion, collaboration, and courage were inspiring, proving that the future of our region is in great hands.

Earlier this week, we proudly hosted our second Industry Design Sprint for 2025. It was rewarding to see several students return, eager to build on their previous experience. Once again, they stepped beyond the classroom to tackle real-world challenges.

Our recent Girls in STEM Industry Sprint program drew on a community approach. Hosting Tech school mentors Alicia Martin from The Gordon, Dr. Ellen Moon from Deakin University, and Dr. Kaja Antlej also from Deakin University as well as industry partners, Barrier Group and the Victoria State Emergency Service. The event was a truly inspiring experience that brought learning to life and connected our students with the real-world applications of STEM.

The Ambassador Program is for outstanding Year 8 students from our partner schools, and takes place on Wednesday afternoons throughout Terms 2 & 3.
