Be inspired by the beauty of nature! The world around you is a treasure trove of interesting objects like plants, leaves and shells. Use these found objects to create a painting, realistic, imaginary or abstract in style. Bring your own interesting objects to the workshop or use our collection of bric-a-brac!
Garden Sculpture -
Thursday 8th July: 1 - 3:00 pm
Your garden is a magical place filled with fairies and gnomes living in mushroom houses! Imagine your own creation and learn the traditional techniques sculpting with clay, that air dries and can be painted afterwards. Please bring a small box (eg. shoe box) to take your sculpture home!

This drawing workshop is designed for beginners or those interested in developing their skills, beginning with still life and progressing to drawing the human figure from life.
A fun, creative and rewarding class that will challenge how you think about the act of drawing. Develop a knowledge of proportion, perspective, composition and anatomy while discovering the expressive potential of charcoal and pencil, using a range of values of line, light and shade.
Your observational skills will be strengthened by the discipline of still life drawing, advancing to life drawing over the course of six weeks. A small class size and individual guidance from Robert Avitabile, experienced teacher and artist, will give you the confidence to experiment and discover. Begin your journey into the exciting world of life drawing!
