🐦🌿 Creating a Home for Our Feathered Friends!🌿🐦

Our Kinder Farm Project continues to grow! 🌱 Today, our Kinder children have been busy creating their very own bird feeders using recycled materials to hang amongst the trees in our Kinder Farm. ♻️🌳

This hands-on experience encouraged the children to explore sustainability, creativity and caring for our local wildlife while learning how even everyday recycled materials can be given a new purpose. 💚

The children were excited to design their feeders and talk about the different birds that might come and visit our Kinder Farm. 🐦✨ This will also create wonderful opportunities for ongoing bird watching, observation and investigation as we discover which feathered visitors make their way into our space.

One little recycled creation at a time, our Kinder Farm is becoming a place where **children, plants and wildlife can grow and thrive together.🌱🐝🐦

Our Kinder children are excited to get their hands dirty as we officially begin our Kinder Farm Project!🌿

Before we can start planting, our little farmers have been busy cleaning and preparing the garden area, working together to get the space ready for something very special. 🌱👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

Through this project, our children will have the opportunity to learn about where our food comes from, how plants grow, caring for living things, sustainability and the importance of working together.🌽🥕🍓

We can’t wait to watch our little garden grow alongside our children and capture the journey from seed to harvest!🌱➡️🌿➡️🥕✨

Our Children’s Rights Wall is a beautiful visual reminder of the rights that belong to every child and the important role we all play in upholding them.

Through conversations, play and everyday experiences, we encourage our children to understand that their voice matters, their feelings matter and they have the right to be heard.🗣️💛

Our wall also provides opportunities for children, educators and families to reflect together on what children’s rights look like in our everyday environment — from feeling safe and supported, to having opportunities to learn, play, express themselves and belong.

Because when children know their rights, they are empowered to speak up, participate and have a voice in their own learning and wellbeing.🌱✨

Who better to introduce our wonderful leaders than the children who see them every day? 🥰✨

Our children have been busy putting their creativity to work, drawing our educators through their own eyes and imaginations🎨🖍️

Each little portrait is unique and special, capturing how our children see the educators who support, guide, nurture and learn alongside them every day.

We absolutely love seeing our educators through the eyes of our children — a beautiful reminder that relationships are at the heart of everything we do.❤️

♻️🎨 Creativity Through Recycling!🎨♻️

Our nursery children have been getting creative with their very own busy painting board,made using recycled resources! 🖌️✨

The children explored a range of recycled materials and discovered how everyday items can be given a new purpose through creativity and imagination. They experimented with colours, textures and different ways of making marks, creating their own unique masterpieces along the way. 🌈

This experience was a wonderful opportunity to encourage sensory exploration, fine motor development, creativity and sustainability, while showing our little learners that something old can become something new! 💚

We love seeing where their little imaginations take them! 🌟

🚒🔥 A Little Visitor at The Hive!🐝🧡

What an exciting surprise we had today at The Hive! Our Kinders were thrilled to spot a fire truck stopping right out the front of our centre. 🚒✨

The children had the wonderful opportunity to chat with the firefighters, ask questions and learn more about their important role in keeping our community safe. They also enjoyed exploring the fire truck visually and taking in all the different equipment and features.

It was such a valuable real-world learning experience, sparking curiosity, conversation and lots of excitement! 🌟

Moments like these provide our children with meaningful opportunities to connect their learning to the world around them and build their understanding of the amazing people who help our community. ❤️

A big thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to stop by and share this special experience with our Kinder children! 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒🚒
