💔 WARRALILY SPRING MARKET CANCELLED AGAIN 😫

This is definitely not the post we wanted to be sharing today.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast for tomorrow has continued to worsen and, with significant rain, strong winds and possible thunderstorms now forecast, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Warralily Spring Market.

We held out for as long as we possibly could, hoping things would improve. We can work with a little rain, but when wind and thunderstorms enter the picture, the safety of our stallholders, entertainers, staff and community has to come first.

We are absolutely gutted.

So much work goes into bringing these events together, not only from us, but from every maker, foodie, entertainer and supplier who was preparing to join us tomorrow.

To our wonderful community, thank you for always showing up and supporting local. ❤️

And to our incredible small businesses who were ready to get up early, set up and trade tomorrow, we are so sorry.

Sometimes Mother Nature simply has other plans.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with anyone who may have been planning to join us tomorrow.

We are incredibly excited to finally share a brand-new Friday Night Series, created in partnership with Plenary and Crowne Plaza Geelong, bringing three very different Friday night experiences to Geelong before the end of the year.

🔥 20 NOVEMBER | Smoke & Spice
🎄 DECEMBER | Christmas Movie Night

And first up, we’re taking you to Asia.

For one night, we’ll transform a new outdoor space near the Geelong waterfront into a vibrant Asian-inspired night market filled with incredible street food, sweet treats, drinks, live entertainment, music, glowing lanterns, communal tables and a beautifully curated collection of market stalls.

Think dumplings, bao, noodles, satay, matcha, bubble tea and delicious flavours from across Asia, all enjoyed under the lights on a Friday night. 🥟🍜🍡

And now that the secret is out…

MAKERS + FOODIES | APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN

We still have a small number of spaces available and are opening applications to exceptional makers, designers and food businesses who would love to be part of this very special event.

Maker spaces are highly curated, with limited numbers and no unnecessary category duplication. You do not need to have an Asian-specific product range to apply. We’re looking for beautiful, interesting and high-quality businesses that will complement the overall event.

For our food offering, we are continuing to seek Asian street food, desserts, specialty drinks and other incredible Asian flavours.

Incredible write up in today’s gt magazine on one of our brilliant Stallholders J.S.Harman | Sci-Fi Author who is a Piccadilly regular. We love seeing people walking around the market with his books in hand.

Sadly today’s market was cancelled due to predicted damaging winds but contact him directly if you would like to get your hands on his books.

⚠️ WARRALILY MARKET | RESCHEDULED

Unfortunately, due to the forecast of heavy rain, possible thunderstorms and strong winds, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s Warralily Market.

The safety of our stallholders, visitors and team always comes first.

But there’s good news! We’re not cancelling, we’re rescheduling!

NEW DATE: Saturday 7 November

We’re absolutely gutted after all the work that goes into bringing market day together, but Mother Nature had other plans for our first weekend of spring!

We’ll still be at Warralily for our next scheduled market on Saturday 3 October, before returning for our rescheduled market on Saturday 7

Help us spread the word so nobody makes the trip this Saturday.
