As a beekeeper I see this, the older bees coming back to the hive tired and weary. They are greeted by the younger bees. She has spent her whole life working hard for her colony. That is why it is so important that I look after them as very best I can.

The darkest of our queens to date, found at the Apiary today. Very like an English Black line of Bee. Very gentle bees and a very laid back Queen.
