You don't have to change your whole life today. Just stop leaving yourself out of it.

As a new week begins, it's easy to focus on everything you need to do for everyone else. The deadlines, the responsibilities, the endless to-do list.

But where do you fit into all of that?

Maybe choosing yourself today looks like taking a walk, stretching for a few minutes, eating a proper meal, getting enough rest or finally saying no to something that's draining you.

Maybe it's making time for something you genuinely enjoy, without feeling guilty about it.

It doesn't have to be a big gesture. It doesn't have to be a complete life reset.

Small acts of self-care are still acts of self-respect.

You deserve to be part of the life you're working so hard to build.

So, as you step into this new week, make one small promise to yourself: I won't keep putting my own wellbeing last.

What's one small thing you'll do for yourself today?

Are you actually okay, or are you just really good at functioning? You’re getting things done. Showing up. Answering mess...

Are you actually okay, or are you just really good at functioning?

You’re getting things done. Showing up. Answering messages. Meeting deadlines. Smiling when people ask how you are.

From the outside, everything might look fine.

But inside, you could be running on empty.

Maybe you’re constantly tired, even after resting. Maybe small things feel overwhelming. Maybe you’ve stopped making time for yourself because there’s always something else that needs doing.

And when someone asks, “Are you okay?” you automatically say, “I’m fine.”

But functioning isn’t always the same as feeling okay.

Sometimes we become so used to pushing through that we forget to check in with ourselves.

So, take a moment today. Not to judge yourself or add another task to your list, but to honestly ask:

“How am I really doing?”

You don’t have to wait until everything falls apart before you give yourself permission to slow down, ask for support or make a change.

Resilience isn’t about holding it all together at any cost. It’s also about recognising when you need care.

Have you ever been good at looking okay, even when you weren’t?

What if you started this week by clearing out your mind, not adding more to your to-do list?

We spend so much time organising our homes, schedules and responsibilities, but what about the thoughts we carry around every day?

The pressure to please everyone.
The habit of comparing our journey.
The conversations we keep replaying.
The expectations we place on ourselves.
The guilt we feel when we finally rest.

Some of these thoughts have been taking up space for far too long.

Mental decluttering doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings or pretending life is easy. It means recognising what’s weighing you down and deciding what you no longer need to carry.

You don’t have to let go of everything today. Just start with one thought, one expectation or one habit that isn’t helping you move forward.

A little space in your mind can make room for a different perspective.

Swipe through the carousel and ask yourself: What am I ready to mentally throw out this week?

There is no wrong way to create.

At JUZT art, we believe creativity belongs to everyone. There’s no single way to make art, no perfect way to express yourself, and no pressure to create like anyone else.

Whether you paint with bold strokes, work slowly, experiment with different materials, follow your own ideas, or simply enjoy being part of a creative space, there is room for you here.

It’s about having the freedom to:

🎨 Create in your own way
🤝 Connect with others
✨ Explore your creativity
💛 Enjoy the process

For adults living with disability, JUZT art is a space to express, discover and create without judgement.

No rules. No pressure. Just the freedom to create.

Your art doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.

Not every plan will go the way you imagined. Not every attempt will lead to the result you hoped for. And sometimes, despite giving it your best, things simply don’t work out.

But that doesn’t make you a failure.

It means you tried. You learned. You discovered something you might not have known before.

Instead of letting one setback define you, ask yourself: What can I take from this? What can I do differently next time?

Because resilience isn’t about getting everything right the first time. It’s about being willing to learn, adapt and keep moving forward.

So, as you head into the weekend, give yourself some credit. You showed up. You gave it a go. And that counts.

A different approach might be all you need. Keep going. Your next chapter is still yours to write.

What’s one lesson from this week that you’re taking into next week?

Sometimes you’ll have a day where everything feels harder.

You’ll feel tired.
You’ll lose your patience.
You’ll question yourself.
You might even wonder if all the progress you’ve made has disappeared.

It hasn’t.

One difficult day doesn’t erase the work you’ve done. One setback doesn’t cancel your growth. One moment of doubt doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning.

You’re still learning. You’re still growing. You’re still moving forward, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Resilience isn’t about having good days all the time.

Sometimes resilience is simply saying:
“Today was hard. Tomorrow, I’ll try again.”

Give yourself permission to have the bad day without turning it into a story about your entire life.

Rest. Reset. Breathe.

Then take the next step when you’re ready.

You are not going backwards. You’re human.

What do you need to remind yourself on the hard days?

“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m falling behind.”
“I should be doing more.”
“Everyone else has it figured out.”
“I’ll never get through this.”

But a thought is just a thought.
It isn’t automatically a fact.

Your mind can replay old fears, worst-case scenarios, insecurities and stories you’ve carried for years. That doesn’t mean you have to accept them as truth.

Pause.

Question the thought.

Is this actually true, or is this fear talking?
Resilience isn’t about never having negative thoughts. It’s learning that you can notice them without letting them decide what happens next.
You can think “I can’t do this” and still take one small step.

You can feel afraid and still move forward.

You can doubt yourself and still choose yourself.

You are allowed to challenge the story your mind is telling you.

What’s one thought you’ve been learning not to believe?

YOUR MIND NEEDS A CLEAN-OUT TOO. 🧠

You declutter your wardrobe.
You clear out your drawers.
You delete old photos from your phone.

But what about the thoughts, commitments and conversations taking up space in your head?

This week, take the MENTAL DECLUTTER CHALLENGE.

Choose ONE:

✔ Unfollow one account that drains your energy.
✔ Say no to one unnecessary commitment.
✔ Finish one task you’ve been putting off.
✔ Stop replaying one old conversation.
✔ Take 30 minutes without notifications.
✔ Write down one worry you cannot control, then give yourself permission to put it down.

You don’t need to declutter your entire life overnight.

Sometimes, creating more peace starts with removing one small thing that has been taking up too much space.

Your mind deserves some breathing room, too.

Which one are you choosing this week?

Some moments make you stop and think about just how far someone has come.

This night was one of those moments for us.

We know the person behind the awards.

We’ve seen the long days, the late nights, the ideas becoming books, the people she has helped, and the challenges she has pushed through. We’ve watched Justine keep showing up, keep believing in herself, and keep turning her experiences into something that helps others.

So seeing her receive three AusMumpreneur Awards was incredibly special for all of us.

🥇 Gold – Author Award
🥇 Gold – Community Impact Award
🥈 Silver – Disability Business Excellence Award

And honestly, we couldn’t be prouder.

These awards represent so much more than recognition. They reflect years of persistence, creativity, courage and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

The Author Award feels especially meaningful knowing that Justine once failed English at school with an E. Today, she has authored 18 books and continues to use her words to help others find theirs.

The Community Impact Award reflects the heart of what she does, creating opportunities, opening doors, amplifying voices and making a difference in the lives of others.

And the Disability Business Excellence Award is another reminder of what Justine continues to demonstrate: disability does not mean thinking smaller, leading less or dreaming differently.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of her team and, more importantly, to witness the person behind all that she achieves.

Congratulations, Justine.

Three awards. Two Golds. One Silver. A very full heart.

And somehow, we know this is only another chapter, not the ending.

We’re excited to see what you build next.
