🎨🐰 Easter Colouring Competition Update! 🐰🎨

Our friends at Ray White Geelong West have collected everyone’s colouring sheets and are now deep in discussion as they decide on our two lucky winners! 🏆

The winners will be announced at our End of Term Assembly tomorrow… stay tuned! 👀

The rain just held off and Cross Country at Fyansford Common was a huge success! 🏃‍♂️🌦️ Our senior students smashed the course with some incredible times as they push towards District—what an effort!

And… bragging rights stay with the teachers, who took out the student vs. teacher race again! 👏

Our first of four 2027 Enrolment Tours kicked off today, with the session reaching full capacity!

Our School Captains did an amazing job speaking with families about their recent Beloke Leadership Camp experience and sharing why they love being part of Ashby.

Our School Captains and SRC Leaders, along with Mr M, headed off to Beloke Leadership Camp this morning for three days of learning, teamwork and adventure.

Beloke focuses on building leadership, responsibility and teamwork in a rustic rural setting. One of the most exciting parts? Our student leaders get to help work the farm… with Kelpie puppies! 😍

Well done to 5/6A for the fantastic effort put into welcoming the Fremantle Dockers to Geelong this weekend. Students created personalised signs for the players’ game day lockers, helping make the club feel right at home during their visit.

We’re very proud of the effort that went into making the players feel so welcome!

Our new House flags arrived just in time for Athletics Day today — and don’t they look amazing! We can’t wait to see them flying proudly as students cheer on their Houses and show their team spirit throughout the day.

Friends of Ashby are still looking for volunteers to help on the night. There are a number of simple roles available — from setting up the popcorn machine and preparing popcorn snacks for the kids, to keeping an eye on the boundaries of the movie area. If you’re planning to be there with your children, it’s a great way to lend a hand and help make the night a success.
