Story time and sensory fun all in one! 📚🌿
As part of Reconciliation Week, the children enjoyed reading a story about Australian animals with their educators before exploring a sensory tuff tray inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The children traced symbols, explored painting experiences and got hands on with the materials as they learned through play. A lovely way to introduce conversations about culture, connection and learning together.

Rolling and lots of concentration in Nursery 2! 😊🔵
The children explored a ball sorting experience, carefully placing the balls into the different holes and watching where they would roll next. Some children loved testing different sizes, while others enjoyed repeating the action over and over again. Such a fun little activity for curious minds and busy hands.

Toddler 2 worked together to carefully stack and balance blocks outdoors, seeing just how high they could build their tower before it toppled over. There were lots of determined faces, problem solving and giggles every time it came crashing down.

Ice painting fun in Kindy 1! ❄️🎨
The children had so much fun exploring colourful ice blocks in different shapes, watching them melt and change as they painted. There were lots of curious little conversations about the “cold” ice, “freezing” water and what happens as the ice begins to melt. Such a fun hands on way to explore, create and experiment together!

Wildlife, sea life and dinosaurs had everyone deep in storytelling mode. The logs with faces were a hit from the moment they came out, recognising familiar friends added such a lovely layer of connection to the play.
