The Seann Triubhas (pronounced "shawn trew-uss") tells a story through every step!👖

This traditional Highland dance dates back centuries and symbolises the rejection of trousers and the return to the kilt—a proud expression of Scottish identity following the lifting of the ban on Highland dress.

💃 The flowing, graceful movements in the early steps reflect the restriction of wearing trousers, while the energetic elevation in the latter part celebrate casting them off!

Whether you're new to Highland Dancing or carrying on a family legacy, dances like the Seann Triubhas connect us to rich history, culture, and storytelling through movement.

Elijah - 7th pas de basque & 7th pas de basque and high cuts.
Amie - 3rd in title sean truibhas
Paetyn- 4th title sword
Isabelle - 1st special fling, 2nd title sword, 2nd title fling 1st title sean truibhas, 1st strathspey and highland reel= 1st beginners 8 & under title. Time to move up to novice :)
