Hi Everyone!
School holidays are here and the sun is out so I imagine many families are enjoying some relaxing times together.
Term 2 has been hectic here. Lots of new faces have joined our group and I am inspired by the efforts students are investing in their progress. For the first time in many years, my schedule is full to the maximum. If you cannot make a class please let me know as soon as possible.
As always, please do not attend classes if you are ill. Sick kids do not learn well and I do not want to share or spread their symptoms. I will not charge you for absence due to illness.
Holidays are great times for maintenance on instruments and a little quiet practice.
Please keep safe and see you next term . I will send invoices over the next few days as I will be away next week.

Hi everyone
Please accept my sincere thanks for all the support my family and I received following our bereavement. The kindness was deeply appreciated by us all.
Many of you paid for term 1 classes which were missed so term 2 invoices will be credited accordingly. I will ensure no student will be disadvantaged by these events.
A number of students are preparing for exams and I am confident they will do well.
I look forward to seeing you all back in the studio.

Hi everyone
My family and I are very grateful for all the support we received following my husband’s passing away. I plan to return to work next Monday. I hope to schedule makeup sessions for all students to ensure they receive their correct tuition.
Let me know if anything has altered since I saw your student last.

Hi Everyone
Term 4 is rapidly approaching and I look forward to seeing smiling faces back in the studio.
Would all parents please confirm your lesson times as soon as possible? I understand that after school commitments do change seasonally and I try to be flexible for all concerned.
Congratulations to Raphael, Kenan and Isabella on their excellent exam entries. I also want to congratulate Eesha on her early entry to Law at ANU.
We have lots of new students joining us so please make them feel welcome.
Remember online sessions are available when requested and I ask you to remain vigilant about not attending when anyone is sick as my husband is highly vulnerable to infection.
Keep up the work and let me know if your instrument needs any maintenance done . Now is the time

Hi Everyone!
It’s a miserable school holidays for most of us. To make things worse my kids have Covid so for this week, all lessons will be online. I have a few students hoping to do their video exam entries next week, so please ensure you keep up the hard work. Have fun and stay safe please

Hi folks
As the weather cools could I ask parents to check that kids have a warm jumper to wear after the lesson please? Often it’s warm and sunny straight after school but the temp drops as the sunsets.
If you can’t get here physically for any reason I am happy to teach online where needed so just let me know.
Please be aware that my schedule is quite full currently. If you need to swap a lesson I will always try to find an option but it might not be that week.
I am delighted with the progress everyone is making. You make teaching a pleasure.

I hope you all have enjoyed your holidays. Term 2 is just around the corner and I will be looking forward to seeing smiling faces and hearing about all the journeys families have enjoyed.

Hi everyone!
The doors are open and the sounds of joyful music fill the air once again!
This term we welcome Charlize and Zac !
I understand that it takes a few weeks for students and parents to find their feet with new schedules so please keep me updated when this effects lessons.
We are a Covid safe workplace. Please don’t come to your lesson with symptoms.

Hi Everyone
Thanks for all the kind offers of support while my family and I have gone through the Covid experience. We are all on the mend and I hope to see you all soon.
Whilst we were in isolation, Peter, the brown bunny temporarily occupied the music room. Today Melissa found that he has added ‘ How to Blitz Second Grade theory’ to his regular diet. It must taste good! I hope my students have also been absorbing new ideas over the holidays. See you soon!

Hi Everyone!
I hope that you all coped with the long lockdown. I am both delighted and surprised at how well the students managed online lessons, so I have opted to keep these available for anyone who needs them. Car travel can sometimes be unavailable so being able to do a lesson at home may be handy. I am asking everyone to let me know what lesson times will suit their current arrangements as school returns. Obviously I insist that the studio is a covid safe environment so if your child has any symptoms they must stay at home. The studio has a QR code for check ins and we will follow all health advice.
