What an incredible way to finish an unforgettable season.

For us, sponsorship has never just been about having the Fair Play name displayed. It’s about supporting the community we live and work in, supporting local sport, and getting behind the people who make it so special.

This season we’ve watched a group of players, coaches, families and supporters show incredible commitment, resilience and heart. After 4 years with Fair Play OOSH, it’s time to say goodbye to Marc! 🥹💙

Marc has been a huge part of our Garden Suburb team since 2022! Our resident nurse long before it was official 🩺, always bringing in special treats for the kids and finding little ways to make their afternoons that bit more fun.🤩

Now he’s off to start his next chapter as a Registered Nurse, and we couldn’t be happier for him! 🎉

Come and help us give Marc a proper Fair Play send-off on Thursday 3rd September from 3–5pm.

Last week, we combined creativity with STEM as children designed and constructed their own bubble wands using pipe cleaners and beads. They experimented with different shapes and designs before putting them to the test!

This hands-on experience encouraged problem-solving, prediction, experimentation and fine motor development while exploring how different designs can create bubbles.

Our Senior Student Space is coming together! 🙌

As our OOSH community includes children across a wide range of ages, we know that what feels exciting and engaging for our younger children isn’t always what our seniors are looking for.

Our senior students have been asking for a space of their own — somewhere they can hang out, connect with friends, unwind after school and enjoy activities that feel a little more suited to their age and interests.

So, we’ve been listening! 👏

The latest addition? A foosball table ⚽️ — and we have a feeling it’s going to get plenty of use!

We’re looking forward to continuing to build this space alongside our seniors, giving them a voice in what it becomes and creating an environment where they feel a real sense of belonging and ownership at OOSH. 💚

🌿🧪 Nature Potions at OOSH! ✨

A little bit of nature, a little bit of science and a whole lot of magic! 🪄

Our OOSH scientists headed outdoors to collect flowers, leaves, bark, grass, sticks and other natural treasures before using them to create their very own nature potions.

There was plenty of experimenting as we mixed, stirred and watched our concoctions fizz, bubble and pop! 🫧 Children loved choosing their ingredients, predicting what might happen and discovering how different mixtures reacted.

Such a fun way to combine science, creativity, sensory play and the natural world — with some wonderfully messy results! 🌿✨🧪

📚✨ Story Time Thursdays ✨📚

Every Thursday at Fair Play OOSH, we come together for Story Time Thursdays—a chance to enjoy a new picture book before bringing the story to life through a guided creative experience. These sessions encourage imagination, creativity and confidence as children explore different art materials and techniques inspired by the week’s book.

This week we read Feathers for Phoebe, a heartwarming story about being yourself, before getting our hands messy creating our own adorable little clay birds! 🐦🎨 Each creation was unique, just like the children who made them, and it was wonderful to see their creativity soar.

🌱 Happy National Tree Day! 🌱

Today we celebrated National Tree Day by decorating our very own mini plant pots before taking them home to plant something special. 🌿🎨

As children painted, chatted and designed their unique creations, they explored creativity, developed fine motor skills and learned about the importance of caring for our environment. Taking their pots home gives them the opportunity to continue the experience with their families as they nurture their own little plant and watch it grow.
