Dear Families,

Our school has been affected by a number of illnesses, including COVID-19. Due to staff absences, we combined classes today. These arrangements will remain in place for the rest of this week.

๐Ÿ“š Class arrangements:

โ€ข Miss T's Year 1/2 class will join Miss Randall's Prep/1 class. Students should go directly to the Prep/1 classroom each morning.

โ€ข Miss Kat's Year 3/4 class will join Mrs C's Year 2/3 class. Students should go directly to the Year 2/3 classroom each morning.

โ€ข Miss Jen and Miss Johnson's Year 3/4/5 class will begin the day in their usual classroom and join Miss Lennard's Year 5/6 class later in the day.

Students will continue with their regular learning programs, including UFLI, Word Origins, and other key learning areas.

While the classes are larger than usual, today was a successful day. I would like to thank our staff and students for their flexibility, teamwork, and positive attitude as we work through these temporary changes together. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Kind regards,
Kelly

Celebrating Speech Pathology Week at Gagebrook Primary School!

This Speech Pathology Week, we would like to recognise and celebrate the incredible work of our speech pathologist, Olivia, and thank her for the difference she makes in the lives of our students at GPS.

Communication creates possibilities and is at the heart of learning, relationships and wellbeing. It helps children express their ideas, share their feelings, build connections and engage confidently with the world around them. Strong communication skills open doors to learning, opportunities and lifelong possibilities.

Thank you, Olivia and all our staff for their commitment to our students and for helping create brighter futures through the power of communication.
