Daydream Machine

It’s no secret that one of Luke’s favourite things about Daydream Machine (and there’s many!) is the initial walk-through catch-up with the prospective families! 😊

Getting to see tentative kids enter the studio and then see their faces light-up (and light-bulbs going off over their heads)when they realise that they’ve found a place that celebrates other fun, creative, cool kids like themselves is the absolute greatest!!

Last week Luke had the privilege of meeting the three awesome Wolf siblings (they already sound like rock-stars!). Within 20 minutes Luke and their amazing mum Monika were being treated to a front-row concert! 🎸 🎤 🥁 🔥

Keep an eye out for the ‘Wolf Gang’ at an arena near you!! 😁🙌

On Thursday we ran our very first Daydream Machine ‘Music-Recording’ school-holiday session!! 🎶 🎸 🥁 🎤 🔥

Our awesome participants wrote, recorded and mixed an original tune, ‘Daydream Machine Anthem’, completely from scratch!! 🤩 👏

It’s sounding amazing, stay-tuned in the coming weeks for its worldwide debut! We can’t wait to share it with you (hey that rhymes!) 😁🙌

Fair to say our Art+Craft School Holiday session on Wednesday was a HUGE success! So much talent and creativity!! 🙌😊

Things were kept toasty warm today at Daydream Machine on this chilliest of days! 🥶 Our kids got super-crafty getting stuck into a range of fun activities!😊..and as you can see they worked up a bit of an appetite! I mean who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned school holiday pizza-party! 🍕 🥳

Haha although it looks like young Alex (see last photo)might have one eye on Luke’s job! Impressive office set-up Alex! 😁

‘Charlie Grace’ has a new song out today! 🙌Recorded and mixed in the Daydream Machine music-studio, ‘Almost Enough’ is another beautiful dreamy slice of indie-pop goodness courtesy of Charlie Grace! 😊You can listen/download it now wherever you like to do that sort of thing!

So fresh, so clean! 😎 It was a ‘T-Shirt Transfer’ school holiday session today at Daydream Machine! 18 of our awesome kids got to design their own prints in Canva and then iron them on to a crisp white tee to take home! As you can see some couldn’t resist rocking the tees straight away..fun, fun, fun! 🙌 🤩

Today’s ‘Make it Pop!’ Daydream Machine school holiday session was absolutely pop-tastic!!!💥 😍 Our awesome participants painted pop-figurines, while listening to k-pop AND eating pop-tarts!!🙌 That’s just how we do things at Daydream Machine 😁. Bring on tomorrow’s t-shirt+tote printing day!! 🔥

Super-talented participant Blake has been working on some incredible anime illustrations this year at Daydream Machine!! 🙌 🤩 Last week we compiled all of his amazing drawings (over 25 of them!) into a colouring book for the other DM kids to enjoy! 😊Congrats Blake it’s a truly awesome addition to the studio..you should be very proud!
