Hi All, planning a circle of security group in the new year.

Hi,
I feel very helpless about what’s happening in Gaza, so Ive set myself a huge challenge and hope to raise money for the kids in Gaza. So the challenge I’ve set myself is to get on a rowing machine and row 20kms in 15 days. A little about me, i was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2017, Im a fulltime wheelchair user. I get help to get on and off the rowing machine and someone stands beside me so if i fall off i wont hurt myself 🙄.. my personal best is 2kms but i didnt get out of bed for two days afterwards .. so my challenge is to do enough rowing each day to reach my goal by the 31/12/23 and not end up in bed not able to move for days/weeks.. you can help cheer me on by donating. Children who are joyful and authentic catch glimpses of their mother or father looking at them with wonder and love, not because they’ve just accomplished something or done what they were told, but simply because they exist.

Happy children feel liked by their parents and know that who they are in their hearts and minds is pleasing. There’s a sense of being known intimately, and that what is known about them strengthens the bond they have with their caregiver.

On March the 26th Portside will be hosting our first ever Portside Youth Festival at Willetton!

It’s going to be a huge competition day, designed specifically for the kids, ranging from 8-15 year olds. There’ll be different categories for the various age groups, and for kids ages 10 and older there will be final boulders in their categories!

We’ll have a huge amount of different things happening on the day, including a sausage sizzle, prizes, games and much more.
