While touring the world he sets up sessions alongside his live dates, passing on his vast knowledge to young aspiring musicians wherever he can. He also encourages other musicians with whom he is associated to take part on these journeys with him. This activity plays an essential part in his career,

I've just wrapped by 2nd year as Coordinator of Bands at Perth College
We've had an incredible year with many highlights but recent ones included an absolutely amazing Presentation night and secondly 2 days of recording in the Theatre. The latter saw the Theatre transformed into a recording studio thanks to Brodie Stewart Music with a focus on recording all of the senior ensembles including a range of choirs (led by Jane Artelaris), Strings (led by Adrian Yeo,) plus Senior Jazz Band and Concert Band led by me.
We had a ball. Looking forward to sharing some sounds in the new year!

Well it's been a very long time between posts!
It has however been a very busy year for me in the Music Education Space!
I've had the absolute pleasure of working with the staff and students at Perth College in Mt Lawley, Perth. It's been wonderful becoming part of the incredible music culture which the school has built over many years!
I've had lot of fun coordinating and conducting the bands and had the opportunity to a special arrangement/medley of selection of the MARY POPPINS musical for Presentation NIght at which was a real pleasure. Particularly as it combined the talents of the Junior Choir and the Year 5 and 6 dances coordinated by Sofie Kros and Sarah Filippi (respectively).
It was a real challenge to trying to explore the type of energy and sometimes craziness of the original arranger Irwin Kostal.

What an incredible artist who was able to produce amazing depths of emotion in his music. We are looking forward to sharing some exciting new music from Nadim and other visiting artists in the not too distant future!
